596...NDP Poised For Big Breakthrough In Alberta

That is what Jack Layton, federal leader of the NDP, is quoted by the Canadian Press as saying yesterday in Edmonton, Alberta.

Of course, what you expect him to say?

The NDP got a career high one [1] [une] [uno] seat federally in the Wild Rose province last time out.

  1. That just shows how insane Jack Layton is. I think there is a better chance they will lose the one seat they have than pick up more. Alberta is about the least friendly NDP province in the country. Even the Liberals realize 1-2 seats is probably the best case scenario in the province just as the Tories realize a breakthrough in Toronto or Montreal is hopeless.
