1929...Trouble In Paradis

The Parti Quebecois, who are in their fifth decade of seeking independence for La Belle, have a bit of trouble with one of their factions.

The component, a political club inside the opposition party in Quebec, Syndicalistes et progressistes pour un Quebec Libre, is a left wing pro union group that has been sniping at Pauline Marois and the powers that be in the PQ, accusing them of being too conservative and moving too slowly towards the goal of independence.

Le Devoir reports that Ms. Marois did not expel the members of the club from the party per se; she just disbanded the club.
