1935... I Bet They Are Great At Packing

They being Alison and David Phillips. They are a peripatetic couple from Merry Olde and The Sun, the British version, reports that they have just bought a home. After moving 86; that is eighty plus six; times since meeting in 1974.

"Mum-of-one Alison, 54, said: 'We never planned life like this - it just kind of happened.'"

Happen it did. During their travels the pair ran pubs and restaurants and have lived in flats, caravans, pubs, guesthouses, a mobile home, boats and even in a Renault.

Alison and David, 67, have been at their present home in Brixham, Devon, for seven years - the longest they have stayed in one place - so their daughter, 15, could stay at one school.
