I know that Stephen Harper's vision of Canada looks a lot like the Bush families USA but dude, seriously, you gotta prioritize.
Take the new laws that you are bringing in to keep our country safe. For starters, these laws have been tested in the States and they are absolute failures resulting in more not less violence on the streets and an explosion in building of jails and the subsequent filling of them. Building jails and filling them costs beaucoup d'argent.
Then take the jets, the billion dollars of jets you want. To be a big boy country Canada has to wear big boy pants and the jets are a big part of that.
But you cannot have both.
Leadership requires making choices.
Either/or.
