Me thinks not but you wouldn't know that from reading the papers.
The nub of the story is that the NDP have proposed a bill to clarify the Clarity Act. For those that don't know the Clarity Act is unclear about how big the majority has to be for La Belle to leave Canada after a referendum. The only thing it is clear about is 50 per cent plus one just won't do.
The NDP sanely propose that 50 plus one is the way to go.
It is like a divorce sports fans. If she wants to go, she is going. That's it, that is all.
