5752...Ireland Comes To America

I got this map off of Facebook.  I don't have a Canuck map but my understanding from talks with the Irish Ambassador here in Ottawa is that 38 per cent of Ottawans, the Ontario side, claim some Irish ancestry.

I had lunch with two summers ago with Bob O'Billovich, the longtime CFL player, coach and executive, and he told me that his part of the world, Great Falls, Montana, had the most Irish of any place in America.  Mining town.  I asked him what was up with his name and he told me that his people were Serbian but they put the O' thing in front of their name so they could pass for Irish and be more employable in Montana.

A reverse NINA.
