That would be Peter Kormos, a Niagara Regional Councilor who represented Welland and who was MPP from that Niagara town for 23 years.
A life long Dipper, Mr. Kormos was also, for a brief period, in Bob Rae's cabinet back in the day.
He also was a Sunshine Boy during his earlier and more hirsute days.
It is widely reported that he died suddenly at home in Welland this morning. He was 60.
