According to reports the NHL, in addition to the Outdoor Classic between Detroit and Toronto at Michigan Stadium New Year's Day, is planning 5 additional outdoor games next season including games at Yankee Stadium (2 during Super Bowl week), Dodger Stadium and Soldier Field, Chicago.
I think the NHL is finally getting this marketing thing. Now all they have to do is figure out what roads lead from Phoenix to Canada.
